Privacy policy
What we collect. When you request the beta, we store the form fields you submit: your name, email address, After Effects version and, if you fill it in, what slows you down in AE. Nothing else — the site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads nothing from third-party servers.
What it’s used for. Your email is used for beta builds only: download links, build updates, and the occasional question from the developer about a bug you reported. It is never sold, shared or used for anything else.
Where it lives. Submissions are stored on the server that hosts this site and in the mailing tool used to send beta builds.
Your choices. Unsubscribe any time via the link in any email, or write to overdrive@pencil-park.com to have your data corrected or deleted. Deleting your data simply means you stop receiving builds.
Terms of use
Beta software. Overdrive is under active development. Beta builds are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Keep backups of your projects — Overdrive reads your comps and displays frames, and does not write to your project file, but beta software is beta software.
License. Beta builds are licensed to you personally, for the duration of the beta, free of charge. Don’t redistribute the builds; send curious friends to this site instead. Pricing comes with the release, and beta testers hear about it first.
Feedback. Ideas and bug reports you send may be used to improve the product, with no obligation or compensation — that’s the point of a beta.
Trademarks. Overdrive is an independent product, not affiliated with Adobe. After Effects is a trademark of Adobe Inc.
